Biography

I manage my own company Nephics AB, where I develop web based services and work as a risk management consultant. My projects span a range of technical disciplines, including software development, risk management and mathematical analysis.

Both as developer and consultant, I strive to combine my strong mathematical skills with my keen focus on simplicity to achieve the best and most elegant solutions.

Focus areas

Web based applications and software development in general.

Risk management, hazard and operability anaysis (HAZOP), what-if analysis, and quantitative risk assessment (QRA).

Mathematical and statistical analysis, failure and availability analysis, system modelling and optimization.

Web and programming skills

I am proficient in most hip web technologies, including frontend tech such as HTML5, CSS3, LESS, JavaScript, etc., and backend tech like nginx, node.js, Tornado, Redis, ZeroMQ, MongoDB, CouchDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.

I am a skilled programmer in JavaScript, node.js, Python, Lua and C, and I also master Java, PHP, Matlab, C#, C++, UNIX shell scripting and Fortran.

Managing and executing projects for private and public sectors, in Europe and the Middle East. I have worked for companies in the medical, power, transportation, oil&gas and chemical industries. Most projects involved assessment and management of risks to persons from production, use, storage and/or transportation of hazardous substances or products.
Also, I have been responsible for arranging seminars, giving talks and courses on risk analysis, hazard identification, functional safety etc.
