Document Management System
Nephics DMS is a document management software that you can use for controlling and maintaining documents in a quality system.
The purpose of DMS is to enable an organisation to meet the requirements of quality standards such as ISO 13486, FDA CFR 21 part 11, and ISO 9001 related to document control and maintaining records.
DMS is different from other document management software:
- Documents are maintained as Markdown formatted text, or as attachments in their original text or binary format.
- The software is installed on your own server, you have complete control of privacy and data integrity.
Notable features:
- Upload documents and organise them in folders
- Document review process – approve/reject individual document revisions
- Digital signature required for document review
- Print view – export to PDF or print to paper
- Search document titles and contents, limit to specific folder(s) or document state or age
- View complete document revision history
- Compare document revisions – side-by-side or with inline markup
- Email notifications related to review process (requires mailserver configuration)
- Optionally, use secure passkeys instead of user passwords
Work with documents the way you like. Write markdown documents using your favourite text editor, or use any of the many great markdown specific editors. Thankfully, DMS will not require you to write documents in a web browser.
